Working with herbs has its rewarding moments whether or not you're cooking or brewing magick with it, or making a concoction of it, or simply putting it under your pilow, herbs are a witch's best friend. However, when you figure out the magickal properties each herb has, the challenge of blending them can be a precarious one. Know your herbs, study them, make notes, whatever it takes, when you know them by heart, you'll be grateful for it.

The most commonly plant herbs witches used most are the ones that have protection. There are many of them to name a few, but mostly sage, cilantro, oregano, garlic, basil, rosemary, clove, lavender, sandalwood and so on.

Herbs can work with other elements such as resins, crystals, oils, seals, emblems, earth, wind, fire, and water, that can add that extra power punch, not to mention the most powerful intent, spells.

On this blog column we'll be journeying our witchy ways of how to blend herbs with magick.
